Title: Almost Forgotten, Never Told

Description: Made in memory of my father who loved plants and gardens. In this quilt I used the metaphor of an old overgrown garden representing memory. Both have blurred edges around structures that were once so clear, and both represent peace and calm to me.

Materials: Nigerian woven cotton, linen, hand-dyed and commercial cotton.

Machine pieced and hand embroidered and embellished with perl and stranded cotton, yarn and wrapped synthetic cord, buttons, beads and metal discs.
